March 26th - "Pistol" Pete Inspiration

Well, you can only watch a documentary about Pistol Pete Maravich so long before it inspires you to actually go outside and play ball....

I walked up to my Zack Attack's house, and he had 5 people over, so we played 3-on-3.

Roster:

•• Team Matrix
- Tyler "MaTrix" Margison - All-Star
- Shawn "Jumpin' Jax" Jackson - Dunking
- Zack "Attack" Stant - Shots, Dimes

•• Team G-Unit
- Gabe "G-Unit" Stant - Dimes
- Wraythe "Dubz" Parker - Shots, Dimes
- Dave "Prince" James - All-Star

We were playing to 21. I checked the ball up and started crossin' Prince up. I spun around him and was a few feet from the goal, and as soon as I had finished my spin, I popped the ball up and Jax came out of nowhere and reverse slammed it in.

A few plays later, the score was 7-8, our lead. Zack was performing the "Attack of the Day", which consisted of him schooling someone to no end. Dubz was guarding him tough, but Attack just kept spinning in place and dribbling between his legs. I pointed up to indicate an alley-oop, and started running to the goal. Attack faked a dribble between his legs and bounced it hard off Dubz's forehead. He staggered backward, jumped for the ball, right as Attack ducked around him and threw the ball up to me, and I laid down a nasty 360 dunk.

G-Unit had the ball, and they were winning 13-12. I had walked off for a drink, and was way on the far side of the tiny court. Attack played tight D on G-Unit, who passed it off to Prince, who was driving quickly to the goal. He was just about to jump, when, from the other side, I saw him approaching defenseless. So, I sprinted up as fast as possible, jumped from WAY back and, supposedly with my head at rim, blocked the shit out of Prince's to-be LeBron-esque tomahawk dunk. During the next play, I elbow-dunked on Prince. He had his back to me, staring at someone in the corner. The ball was behind-the-back passed to me, and I just ran and jumped and elbow-dunked right on him.

We ended up winning 21-18. Good game.
